Bayern Munich see West Ham United striker Carlton Cole as a replacement for Luca Toni.

World Cup winner Toni is currently playing on-loan at Roma and wants to make the deal permanent.

Bild says Bayern are ready to sell the Italy international and replace him with England World Cup hopeful Cole.

The 26-year-old has scored nine goals in 26 games this season for the struggling Hammers, and still hopes to be included in England's World Cup squad.
