Bayern Munich release Renato Sanches back to loan club Swansea

Bayern Munich are releasing fit-again Renato Sanches back to loan club Swansea City.

Wales Online says Sanches is set to rejoin the City as he prepares to return to South Wales.

The Portugal international has had spells in his homeland and back at parent club Bayern Munich as he has recovered from the hamstring problem that has kept him sidelined since the end of January.

The 20-year-old's extended absence from South Wales had led to fears he would not return after an underwhelming loan spell.

But manager Carlos Carvalhal revealed at his press conference last week that Bayern had indicated to Swansea that the player would be fit enough to play a part over the closing stages of their relegation battle.

The 52-year-old added that he expected Sanches to report for duty on April 10, when Swansea return to training in the wake of their weekend draw at West Brom.
