Bayern Munich president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is open to allowing Luca Toni to sign permanently with Roma. The Italy striker is desperate to turn his loan into an outright deal, but Bayern powerbrokers have indicated they expect to recall him in the summer.
"Toni will return from his loan, he will return to the first team," said Rummenigge. "I am in touch with Toni.
"He still has a year's contract with us, but I know he'd love to stay in Rome. Let's see if we can find an agreement with Roma."
