Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness admits he's told Pep Guardiola their choice of next coach.

Hoeness dined with the Manchester City manager on Tuesday - and he admits the topic of Carlo Ancelotti's successor was discussed.

"I told him (Guardiola) who we will take in the next few days. He was pleased," revealed Hoeness.

Former Barcelona coach Luis Enrique, a friend of Guardiola's, has been linked with the Bayern job.

Guardiola left Bayern last year to be replaced by Ancelotti.
