Bayern Munich pals urge Man Utd, PSG target Boateng not to leave

Bayern Munich players are urging Jerome Boateng not to leave this month.

The Germany defender is being linked with Manchester United and PSG, but his teammates want him to stay.

Left-back David Alaba was asked about Boateng's potential departure and replied: "We'd all be sad. He's a world-class player, one of the best in his position."

Bayern captain Manuel Neuer echoed Alaba's sentiments claiming they would 'miss him' and Franck Ribery stressed how much he wants the 29-year-old to stay.

"I've been playing with Jerome for many years now," Ribery added. "I hope he'll stay with us because he's an important player. To me, he's one of the best central defenders in the world."
