Bayern Munich are moving for Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic.

Bayern are in the market for a midfield schemer and after being knocked back by Real Madrid ace Luka Modric, they're now moving for his Croatia teammate Rakitic.

Don Balon says Bayern are willing to offer €80m to convince Barca to sell.

Talks with Rakitic's minders have commenced, with a contract package tabled worth €9m-a-year.

If given encouragement, they'll then launch their offer to Barca confident the Catalans will sell given their overload of midfield options.
