Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola has denied any interest in Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria.

After a disappointing season at Old Trafford the 27 year old has since seen himself linked with a move to Bayern, as well as Barcelona, but Guardiola has admitted his side are not interested in signing the Argentina international.

"I don't have to watch Argentina games, because I know him and his style of playing very well," Guardiola said.

"United did not pay so much money for nothing, he is a great player. Although such transfer fees are sometimes really crazy."

When then asked if he was interested in recruiting Di Maria, Guardiola replied: "No."
