Bayern Munich are moving to beat Manchester United for Swedish whizkid Alex Timossi Andersson.

The 16 year-old Helsingborgs IF prospect has trialled with both giants over the past year.

Helsingborgs coach Per-Ola Ljung told Expressen: "We have had dialogue with them (Bayern Munich) for a while. It moves in different directions, which is only natural. Nothing is new.

"We have done what we could with Alex and his family.

"With the huge interest he has had around him from very many clubs they've asked to take him, to show their facilities and explain their plans for him."
