Bayern Munich midfielder James Rodriguez is splitting up with wife Daniela Ospina.

Ospina's manager Tatiana Zuluaga has now confirmed that they will indeed be separating.

"Daniela Ospina and James Rodriguez, parents to Salome Rodriguez Ospina, are making official their separation after six and half years of marriage," a statement shared on social media said.

"It is done in the best possible terms and it is a mutual decision.

"They'll maintain a relationship of love and of respect, always with Salome's wellbeing at heart."

James left Real Madrid for Bayern earlier this summer. Daniele is the sister of Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina.
