Bayern Munich line up move for unwanted Crystal Palace keeper Steve Mandanda

Bayern Munich are lining up a move for unwanted Crystal Palace goalkeeper Steve Mandanda.

The France international, in his first season in England, has been encouraged to move on by Palace boss Sam Allardyce this summer.

Mandanda is now strictly third choice behind Wayne Hennessey and Julian Speroni - and has been linked with a return to former club Olympique Marseille.

However, Le 10 Sport says the experienced shot-stopper could be offered a move to Germany by Bayern.

Bayern are seeking top quality cover for Manuel Neuer and have Mandanda under consideration. Current No2 Sven Ulreich, after his sudden first team chance, is now seeking a move away, so leaving Bayern with the need to find a new backup.
