Boateng only moved to City last summer from Bundesliga outfit Stuttgart.

However, Kicker says the defender is on the shopping list of Bayern Munich ahead of the summer market.

City, for the moment, have concerns Boateng, 22, faces surgery after injuring his knee on international duty.
