Bayern Munich have joined the interest for Chelsea defender David Luiz.

Despite reports of new Blues boss Jose Mourinho calling Luiz to assure him he was in his plans for the new season, the Brazilian continues to attract transfer interest.

Luiz has been linked with a €35 million move to Barcelona, while he has also been mentioned with PSG this week.

And Sport says Pep Guardiola's Bayern are also chasing Luiz, where the Spaniard has asked his sports director Matthais Sammer to make contact with Chelsea about the defender's availability.
