Bayern Munich are chasing Arsenal midfielder Andrey Arshavin.
Bayern chief Christian Nerlinger is convinced Arshavin's game would suit Bayern and he would fit well with midfield stars Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.
Arshavin, 30, is waiting to open new contract talks with Arsenal, but faces having to accept only a 12 month extension to his current deal - which runs to 2012. The Gunners have a policy of not offering long-term agreements to players over 30.
Arshavin's age won't concern Bayern, which are set for a summer buying spree after a disappointing Bundesliga campaign.
