Bayern Munich inform Real Madrid they can have David Alaba for...

Bayern Munich are prepared to sell David Alaba to Real Madrid this month.

AS says Real made a €65 million offer for the Austria international but this was rejected by Bayern president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, who called the player's agent to tell him that Alaba would not be sold during this transfer window.

However, Bayern are thought to be holding out for an offer of closer to €80 million euros for Alaba, a figure that could be made up in cash or with a player that coach Carlo Ancelotti would like to add to his squad from the Bernabéu.

Alaba does not want to force the issue as he has been at Bayern for seven years and appears to be enjoying working under Ancelotti.
