Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge insists there are absolutely no plans to sell Joshua Kimmich.
Pep Guardiola's Manchester City have reportedly been showing significant interest in the versatile 22-year-old but the German giants see him as the successor to retiring captain Philipp Lahm.
It is understood that Kimmich is uncertain of his Bayern future as he has endured a difficult season under Carlo Ancelotti but Rummenigge says he will not be leaving the Allianz Arena anytime soon.
"We have big plans for him in the future," Rummenigge told Sky Sports Deutschland.
"He will be, quite literally, our successor to Philipp Lahm.
"From next season, he'll get more and more minutes. That's Carlo Ancelotti's plan, at least."
