Bayern Munich are chasing Blackburn Rovers winger Morten Gamst Pedersen.

The News of the World says German chiefs watched the Norwegian, 25, in his country's 2-1 friendly win against Argentina in Oslo on Wednesday.

Pedersen, valued at around £10million, has already been linked with Arsenal and Aston Villa during the summer.

He has been with Rovers for more than three years and is looking for an improved contract if he is to stay at Ewood Park.

He said: "If Blackburn want to pay me more, it means they appreciate my contribution to the team."
