Bayern Munich are hoping to negotiate a first-refusal option on Werder Bremen's Serge Gnabry.
Kicker is reporting that the German giants have contacted Bremen in a bid to put in place a first option for the in-form 21-year-old winger.
Gnabry has starred in the Bundesliga since joining Bremen from Arsenal, scoring 10 goals in 21 appearances.
That form has alerted Bayern who are again looking to flex their muscle in Germany by attempting to lure a rival club's promising talent to the Allianz Arena.
Sport is also claiming that Barcelona are showing significant interest in Gnabry who scored a hat-trick on debut for Germany in November last year.
