Bayern Munich have denied reports of a deal with Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski.

Reports in Germany suggested that Lewandowski, also a target for Manchester United, had signed a pre-contract with Bayern and would either move this summer or in 2014 when he becomes a free agent.

But the Bundesliga champions today denied those claims in a statement.

It said: "FC Bayern, contrary to these reports, do not have any contract with Robert Lewandowski."
