Bayern Munich defender Javi Martinez has told Liverpool half of Spain want them to beat Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
Jurgen Klopp's side are the latest club to attempt to end Real's dominance in Europe when they clash in Kiev this weekend.
Martinez told The Sun: “Generally in Spain, half the country are Real Madrid and the other half Barcelona.
“There is no doubt half of Spain will support Liverpool. Barca fans are going with Liverpool."
He added: “Liverpool is very tough opponent to face, we played against them in pre-season. We were not at our best level then but we saw how difficult they are to beat.
“They are very fast, they have very fast players and I think they can create problems for Real Madrid with that.
“But you know Real, they are always in this kind of game and they have a lot of experience which is an important point."
