Bayern Munich defender Holger Badstuber is hoping Manchester City firm up their interest this month.
The centre-half has been linked with a January move to City, where his former Bayern coach Pep Guardiola is eager to strengthen his defensive options.
Off contract in June and with only three appearances for Bayern this season, Badstuber is eager to hear from City.
The defender has little chance of breaking coach Carlo Ancelotti's first-choice centre-half pairing of Mats Hummels and Jerome Boateng this term.
Badstuber, 27, was a regular for Guardiola before being hit by a serious ankle injury last February.
