Bayern Munich confident keeping Schweinsteiger despite growing Man Utd rumours
Bayern Munich management are confident Bastian Schweinsteiger will sign a new contract.
Former Chelsea star Michael Ballack has urged Manchester United to come in for his Germany teammate.
"In regard to Bastian, the most important thing for us is that a new contract is signed," Bayern sporting director Christian Nerlinger told the club's official website.
"The concrete date of seeing him sign new terms is not that important for us. He has told us that we are his first option. We are not in talks just yet, we are not going to put him under any pressure.
"He is an important player for our team, though, and we are looking forward to speaking with him."

Sounds like another footballer who is using Utd to get a better contract. Fergie has no money to spend from the yanks so dont even waste space on the rumour page with this one.
he will go to manchester utd in the summer. his brother is a big man utd fan. and he has ambitions to play premier league football. respect to bayern.
