Bayern Munich coach Louis van Gaal has told Luca Toni to find a new club.

The striker has been on the outskirts of the squad ever since Van Gaal took over and it looks as if they have reached breaking point.

"He's the one who said he wanted to leave, so he needs to start looking for another club," said Van Gaal.

"The final decision without doubt will be made by the club, but I will have some influence on it too.

"All the players have their chances, but they must also respond to the demands of Bayern so that they can be considered real professionals."
