Bayern Munich coach Van Gaal takes aim at Real Madrid president Florentino
Bayern Munich coach Louis van Gaal has hit out at Real Madrid president Florentino Perez after this week's Champions League exit.
Van Gaal says Perez has not learned from the mistakes of his previous reign in charge of Real.
"Perez has learned nothing from past mistakes. Instead of gambling with money, Real should have their own philosophy,” he told Marca. "I had already predicted that Real would be eliminated. A team cannot be built from scratch by a lot of money spent to bring in the best."
