Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes has confirmed they're using Manchester United's facilities for their Champions League tie at Manchester City.

Bayern famously knocked Manchester United out of the competition in the quarter-finals two seasons ago but have been offered the chance to train at United's Carrington complex before returning home.

Heynckes said: "After the game I like my players to warm down or work on other aspects of their game, and Manchester United have kindly offered us their facilities for that."
