Bayern Munich coach Carlo Ancelotti believes Chelsea are a Champions League threat this season.

Chelsea are back in the competition this season after winning the title under coach Antonio Conte.

Ancelotti said: "I can not wish Antonio to win the Champions League, but of course Chelsea will be competitive.

"They have bought really good players, the team is better compared to last year - it was a fantastic year for Chelsea and for Antonio.

"He was able to change the mentality of the team, the style of play and everything was okay. For this reason they are going to be really, really competitive. To win? I don't know. I hope not!"
