Bayern Munich coach Ancelotti denies wanting to sell Man Utd, Chelsea target Muller

Bayern Munich coach Carlo Ancelotti denies he wants to sell Thomas Muller this summer.

The striker is being linked with Manchester United and Chelsea amid claims he is set to make way for new arrival James Rodriguez.

"Of course we didn't buy James to replace Thomas Muller," said Ancelotti. "If you think this way you can think he will replace Thiago because he can play in the centre.

"He can play on the right or the left and so he can replace Robben or Ribery. Sometimes I put him as a midfielder so he can replace Tolisso and Vidal.

"We didn't buy James to replace anyone. We bought James to add to the team. He is a good player. I know about his quality and his personality. I think he can help us."
