Bayern Munich chief scoffs at Ribery's "Real Madrid or nothing" demand

Bayern Munich supremo Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has warned Franck Ribery to forget about moving to Real Madrid.

This week, Ribery declared it was "Real Madrid or nothing" as far as he was concerned for this summer's market.

But Rummenigge scoffed to Tz: "We are very calm about this story. Personally, I interpret this statement from Franck as: either Real Madrid or nothing? Our answer is clear: nothing!"

You guys need to think straight. If a player wants to go, let him go cos they are not slaves. Hala Madrid!!

yeah... because letting him rot on the bench and become completely worthless to bayern and every other club is better than getting 30-50m for him while clubs are still willing to pay that much. i like the way you think.

Hmmm it's pretty easy to keep a hold of a player that has declared they want to leave. Hold them to their contract, fine them for not showing up to training 1 weeks wages and make them play, failure to play results in another fine of 1 weeks wages.

If Ribery wants to leave and refuses to train or play, Bayern will have to pay him nothing! He'll rot on the end of the bench, his skills diminishing to amatuer levels.
