Bayern Munich chief Uli Hoeness is confident Real Madrid and Barcelona won't prise Franck Ribery away in the summer.

"You can be sure 100% that Ribery will also play the next season with us," said Hoeness. "I remind you that we have a valid contract for two and a half years with him and so I do not see why we should think about a replacement now.

"I think that in the next few months the big clubs will meet with big economic problems. The period will play in our favor. I am sure that the current salaries are much higher than we're going to pay in the autumn."
