Bayern Munich chief Uli Hoeness has blasted Ousmane Dembele for going AWOL from Borussia Dortmund training.

Dembele went missing last week amid a bid from Barcelona being rejected by BVB.

Watching from afar was Hoeness, who weighed in yesterday: "Dembele is guilty. If he refuses to go to training, it is because he made the decision on his own and can not blame his agent.

"Dembele is an adult. I must also say that up to now, Borussia Dortmund has had a very intelligent attitude. Bayern would have done the same thing as Dortmund. Like a big club, the Borussia has to show that they had a strong hand.

"The mercato is open until August 31, and if the leaders of the Borussia wish to keep Dembele they can do it."
