Bayern Munich supremo Uli Hoeness has admitted regret over Arsenal attacker Lukas Podolski's failure to make it with the German giants.
Podolski returns to his old club in tonight's Champions League clash.
"I think the coaches we had at that time did not like him, so judged him harshly," said Hoeness.
"Jupp Heynckes in the last five weeks he was with us, played him regularly and he did well. If Heynckes had come sooner, perhaps Lukas would still be playing with us."
