Bayern Munich chief Uli Hoeness has urged FC Cologne star Lukas Podolski to resist offers from England.

Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked with the Germany international , who Hoeness says couldn't cope playing abroad.

"He's not a player for abroad," said Hoeness.

"I cannot imagine Lukas in Manchester, Liverpool or at a Spanish club, he only knows Germany."
