Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola says he won't block Bastian Schweinsteiger from moving on.

The German is being linked with Manchester United.

Guardiola says he hoped the World Cup winner would remain in Bavaria.

"Of course I am planning to work with Basti next season," he said. "Basti has to decide.

"If Schweinsteiger wants to stay here then that's perfect. He's a top player."
