The Sunday Mirror says Danish striker Bendtner is frustrated at his lack of first team opportunities and there is interest from Germany in him.
Bayern Munich are keen - as are Dortmund.
A cash-plus-player deal to bring Gotze to The Emirates then becomes a possibility.
