Bayern Munich are chasing Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes.

The Mail on Sunday says Gomes, whose outstanding form was a feature of Tottenham's recent victories against Arsenal and Chelsea, is being targeted by Champions League finalists Bayern Munich.

Gomes has two more years of his contract left at Tottenham, but Bayern want to replace Hans-Jorg Butt, their current No 1, next season.

Gomes, along with Schalke's Manuel Neuer, are the principal candidates.
