Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena - the passion for football
Allianz kicks off its international campaign to give footballs fans an insider's view and background of a kind they’ve never had before.
Over the course of several episodes, the global football community will be treated to exclusive behind-the-scene glimpses of the world of professional football. The spotlight is on FC Bayern Munich and the Allianz Arena. And the whole campaign is dedicated to “The passion behind football”.
As Uli Hoeness, the seasoned manager of Bayern Munich, explains, “At FC Bayern Munich we are really delighted that Allianz, one of our most long-standing partners, has chosen to take up a subject like passion because without passion, sport – and football in particular – simply wouldn’t exist. What is absolutely vital for us are the people, without whose boundless personal engagement and enthusiasm FC Bayern would never have become what it is today. What they and we all share in common is a passion for football and for our Club.”
Football is indeed a very good example of just how important the collective passion of a great number of people can be for making a winning team - from the Club kit manager and countless numbers of helpers in the stadium right through to the fans and their players.
And that’s exactly the reason behind the Allianz campaign.
Enjoy the first episode, which focuses on “the last few metres before the pitch” with Mark van Bommel talking about the rituals of players in the stadium tunnel and his own very personal experiences in the Allianz Arena and the other international stadiums he’s seen in the course of his career:
