Bayern Munich are ready to challenge Manchester City for VfL Wolfsburg winger Kevin de Bruyne.
De Bruyne's agent, Patrick de Koster, has confirmed this week talks with City officials about a Premier League return for the former Chelsea midfielder.
However, Bayern are also chasing De Bruyne's signature and have asked Wolfsburg to name their price.
Wolfsburg, anticipating an auction, have slapped a €60 million price-tag on the Belgian.
"At the moment, there are no formal discussions. Of course, in the coming weeks, I will travel the world to talk about the situation of Kevin but that's just regarding informal information," said De Koster.
"I will talk to anyone, but Kevin is very pleased with Wolfsburg and the way they've treated him since he arrived from Chelsea last year."
