German giants Bayern Munich will be without Franck Ribery for the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 meeting with Arsenal.
The French ace underwent buttock surgery to repair a trapped nerve last Thursday and it has been confirmed that he will be unavailable for the February 19 clash at the Emirates Stadium.
Ribery will return to training with the German and European champions next week in a bid to be fit for the return leg at the Allianz Arena on March 11.
