Bayern loss deflated Arsenal - Wenger

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has blamed the Gunners dip in form on their Champions League Round of 16 exit at the hands of Bayern Munich.

The Bundesliga champions embarrassed Wenger's side over the two-leg affair, which ended 10-2 on aggregate. The Bavarian giants hammered Arsenal 5-1 at the Allianz Arena in the first leg, only for them to repeat the score line a week later in London.

"It's true that we lost too many games and that's where we find the points that we missed tonight, but that was down to the period where we were unstable defensively and unsettled mentally as well by the exit that happened against Bayern Munich."
