Bayer Leverkusen warn Arsenal off Bender

Bayer Leverkusen chief Rudi Voeller says they're determined not to lose Lars Bender.

The Germany midfielder is back on the agenda of Arsenal, where manager Arsene Wenger failed with a massive offer for him last summer.

Voeller insisted: "First, we have not received any offer. In addition, Lars wants to stay with us.

"We're not going to sell Lars Bender. We have high goals."
