Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Christoph Kramer is interesting Tottenham.
The Sunday Telegraph says officials from the north London club will travel to Germany next week to thrash out the deal.
Kramer would inject some energy into the Spurs midfield and manager Mauricio Pochettino is thought to be keen on reinforcements after selling Paulinho.
The 24-year-old spent the last two seasons on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach and comes with a glowing reputation after earning 10 Germany caps since 2014.
Kramer stared the World Cup final but was replaced early in the first half after receiving a head injury.
