Arsenal are regarded as favourites to land Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno this summer.
Napoli have been pushing hard to sign the Germany international as a replacement for the departing Pepe Reina.
However, Kicker says Arsenal have now edged ahead in the battle for Leno's signature. The 26 year-old now favours a move to London with the Gunners.
Leno's contract carries a €25m buyout clause and Bayer accept he will leave this summer.
The German's arrival at Arsenal would see David Ospina moved on by new manager Unai Emery.
