Sunderland are preparing to offload Ricky Alvarez next month.

The Argentine has struggled during his season-long loan from Inter Milan this season.

Alvarez is tied to Inter until 2018 and is expected to be sent back to his parent club this summer.

TMW says Inter have been approached by Bayer Leverkusen about a price for the midfielder.

For the moment, Sunderland are yet to make clear to Inter their decision over Alvarez.
