Liverpool legend Sami Hyypia will be in the England dugout on Friday.
The Daily Mail says Bayer Leverkusen coach Hyypia joined Roy Hodgson at the FA's St George's Park training complex on Tuesday and will be with him as England attempt to close in on a place in next summer's World Cup finals.
As rookie boss of Bundesliga side Bayer, Hyypia has to spend time on the road, as part of his Pro A licence course, and asked his former Finland boss Hodgson if he could track him through the final stages of England's qualifying campaign.
Hyypia will study Hodgson's methods on the training pitch this week and is hoping for permission to join him on the bench, against Montenegro on Friday and Poland next Tuesday.
