Manchester United fullback Timothy Fosu-Mensah is a target for Bayer Leverkusen.

Currently on-loan with Fulham, Fosu-Mensah is being encouraged to leave by Cottagers boss Claudio Ranieri this season.

And new Bayer coach Peter Bosz would be happy to take the Dutchman off Fulham's hands for the remainder of the term.

For their part, United have been happy for Fosu-Mensah to stay with Fulham in order to learn to fight for a first team spot.

However, the opportunity to see him regularly play at Bayer may change their thinking.
