The Finn is impressing in charge of Bayer.
He told BILD: "I have two special places in my heart. I was born in Finland. And there the national team coach is the biggest job. Liverpool has a different place in my heart.
"I will not say that it is a goal, but after the ten years that I played there, it would be a dream someday to be Liverpool manager. But I live in the here and the now. And that is Bayer Leverkusen, and it is great fun."
