Former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez is on the brink of becoming Mexico's all-time greatest goalscorer.
One goal is all that separates the Bayer Leverkusen ace from breaking Jared Borgetti's record.
His goal in the 2-0 victory over Jamaica took Chicharito to 45 goals in total for the national team, just one behind the record holder.
The legendary Borgetti is the most prolific scorer in Mexican history with 46 goals but the former Manchester United star is expected to overtake him this summer.
The former Bolton Wanderers forward scored 46 goals in 89 games whilst Hernandez has been slightly quicker with his 45 goals coming in just 84 matches.
