Batistuta is my blueprint - Liverpool's Suarez

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has revealed that Argentine legend Gabriel Batistuta is the man he really looks up to.

The Uruguay international, who has enjoyed a good start to life in England, says that the former Fiorentina and AS Roma star is the perfect player when describing the modern day striker.

"Gabriel Batistuta reflects the bread and butter of the striker; what his soul must be," Suarez told FourFourTwo.

"I think I have that never-surrender attitude from him, because he never gave up."

The ex-Ajax man also said that Reds manager Kenny Dalglish has made him feel extremely welcome since ha rrived on Merseyside.

"I've already learned a lot from him," he added.

"It seems like it's only been a little while since he was last coaching. The first thing he said to me was 'Hola, bienvenido' (Hello, welcome).

"He still talks to me in Spanish because I don't understand English fully yet. This makes me feel wanted."
