Bates tells Canadians £80M for Leeds

Ken Bates is demanding a Canadian consortium double their £40 million bid for Leeds United.

The Daily Mail says it is believed representatives from the interested party took a tour of Elland Road and the club's Thorp Arch training ground last Thursday.

However, Leeds owner Bates is digging his heels in over the price he wants before parting with the club, with the 80-year-old demanding £80m.
