BATE Borisov midfielder Alex Hleb says he has only himself to blame for his failure at Barcelona.

Hleb flopped at Barca after leaving Arsenal and will face his old club in the Champions League.

"That had nothing to do with (Pep) Guardiola. Only I've made mistakes, especially privately, and then also had disputes with the coach.

"It was all my fault. But now lets forget this," he said.

Asked if he was looking forward to facing Barca, Hleb continued: "No. It is the strongest team in the world, and I think no one really takes a lot of pleasure playing against (Lionel) Messi, Neymar and so on."
