Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien is being linked with a return to France.
The former Olympique Lyon star has struggled for minutes this season, despite the admiration of Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
France Football says SC Bastia are keen to lure Essien back to France in January.
The Ghana international still has 18 months to run on his Chelsea contract, though Bastia hope the Blues can be persuaded to keep his price-tag affordable.
